Cathedral of the Nativity 1222-1225

Cathedral of the NativityCathedral of the Nativity is the most ancient architectural monument of Suzdal.

It was built in accordance with traditions of Vladimir and Suzdal white stone architecture.

Upper tier of cathedral and five domes were added in XVI century. Unique "gold gateway" and fragments of fresco (beginning of the XIII century) survive in the interior of cathedral.
