Minsk Porcelain Factory - was based on a small business - pottery production, which was opened in 1883 on the Mykolayiv street (later Kropotkin street) by entrepreneur Polyak. The number of personnel was 38 men, three teenage boys and six women.
In 1920 the city authorities become the guide of production. Tile factory in 1951 was renamed the whiteware factory. Ten years later, production of faienc was discontinued; the factory was called Minsk Porcelain Factory.
Artists Nicholaj Miholap Viktor Gavrilov, Valery Leontovich, Mikhail Belyaev, Ivan Prokhorov, V. Kirilenko , V. Danchuk , L. Bogdanov, A. Fedus and many others worked and created at the Minsk Porcelain Factory.
