Sysert (Russian: Сысерть) The factory was founded in Sysert (town in the Sverdlovsk Oblast) in 1960. It was called "Sysert factory of ceramic articles". Painters N. S. Inozemcev and N. F. Malyshev were working there. In the winter of 1977 the factory was renamed in "Sysert factory of art porcelain". In 1980 there was opened the experimental art laboratory. Thanks to laboratory the factory started to manufacture pieces with thin walls. By the early 90s, the factory had economic problems and was reorganised in "Sysert factory". In 2000 the factory got out of crisis. Nowadays it is working. Its production is sold in the Europe and Russia. |
